Labour MP Diane Abbott has reportedly turned down an offer to appear in for the forthcoming series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.
The politician - who was recently sacked as Shadow Health Minister Ed Miliband in his recent party reshuffle - told the Mirror that she had the producers on the phone soon afterwards.
However she told them that she has refused to take part - adding that she has been courted by the show in the past.
"This is not the first time I have been approached and the answer is always the same - no," the 60-year-old said.
If Diane were to take part she would not be the first MP to make their mark in the jungle.
Tory MP Nadine Dorries was in the 2012 line-up but attracted criticism from her fellow politicians for taking part in the show.
She eventually became the first person to be voted out of the jungle by the public.
Rumours are rife as to who might be taking part in the next series, with TOWIE's Joey Essex, former Coronation Street star Michael le Vell, Emmerdale's Lucy Pargeter and footballer Paul Gascoigne all tipped as possible candidates.
Meanwhile ex-Strictly Come Dancing pro Vincent Simone has also entered the mix, with The Sun reporting that he is considering a spot on the show.
I'm A Celebrity...is due to return to screens in November.
