Helen Flanagan has revealed that she has given Scott Sinclair an ultimatum for her to become pregnant by Christmas.
Speaking to the Mirror the former Coronation Street star - who was voted the UK's sexiest woman by FHM magazine earlier this week - denied reports the pair had split, but said she was keen to start a family soon.
“I’ve always been really broody," she admitted. "We’re thinking Christmas time – we’ve talked about it and everything. We don’t know what will happen with his football or my career, so we’ll see how things go."
Helen - who has a string of film projects lined up - also addressed rumours that her and her footballer boyfriend were no longer together, saying that while they had their ups and downs they were still very much a couple.
“We have quite a passionate relationship,” she admitted. “My friends always laugh at us, but I think it’s because we love each other so much.
“We’re very different people – he’s one of the fastest footballers in the country and I can’t even get up the stairs because I smoke so much.
Helen added: “In a relationship you have difficulties. Just because we’re in the limelight, it doesn’t make it any different.
“We get it all the time, ‘have you split?’ No, we’re still together. ‘Have you split now?’ No, we’re still together.”
And she also revealed that while their individual careers have kept them apart lately, the experience has been good for her.
"I've been really independent ever since I met Scott," Helen said. "But I am very ambitious and work-focused. I think it's good to have a balance with your work life and your friends.
"And Scott is so concentrated on his football, he doesn't care what people say. Honestly all he cares about is me and his football."
