I'm A Celebrity: Cerys seeks 'Tarzan'
Rock star Cerys Matthews, who has signed up to take part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, has said she is looking for love in the jungle. The single singer, who recently split from her producer husband Seth Riddle, told The Sun she would be "like Jane looking for Tarzan". "I want to wear those outfits and climb trees and go adventuring around," she said. "It's a curious place to go looking for love - in the jungle." The 38-year-old - who fronted indie band Catatonia in the 90s - also admitted she will miss her kids, four-year-old Glenys and Johnny, two, while she is away. "Glenys wants to come with me," she said, "but she doesn't like bugs much, so that's why we tell her she can't come." Meanwhile fellow contestant Malcolm McLaren has claimed that he is being bullied into taking part in the show, due to contractual obligations with ITV. He told The Sun that ITV chiefs said they would only screen an axed show he appeared on if he joined jungle line-up. The show - in which celebrities competed to become a Scottish baron - was shelved after the death of McLaren' co-star Mike Reid. However, the former Sex Pistols manager vowed not to let I'm A Celebrity viewers down. "I'm very obnoxious creature," he told the paper.
