The Voice UK won't have a spin-off show on ITV
ITV has no plans for a spin-off show when The Voice UK premieres on its new channel in 2017
ITV has shelved plans for a spin-off show of The Voice – for now.
According to RadioTimes.com, the broadcaster had additionally planned to put out a show on ITV2, although no presenter had been assigned to the series.
But TV bosses want to focus their attention on the main series, hosted by Emma Willis and featuring will.i.am and possibly Sir Tom Jones returning as coaches.
“We are currently focused on The Voice UK and The Voice Kids, both of which will broadcast on ITV in 2017, and there are no plans at present for a spin-off show,” a spokesman was quoted as saying.
