Hollywood star Jennifer Love Hewitt returns for more ghostly goings-on in a new series of Ghost Whisperer, on Living TV on Tuesday, May 12... Jennifer Love Hewitt is back conversing with the dead this week when Ghost Whisperer returns with a fourth series (Living, Tuesday 12 May, 9pm). This time out, Hewitt’s character Melinda meets psychology professor Eli James (Jamie Kennedy), who shares her supernatural ability, and faces a personal tragedy involving her husband Jim (David Conrad)... Melinda feels like my best friend... She’s a made-up person, but she is someone whose soul and heart I have vibrated in now for a very long time. Everyone loves a good Romeo and Juliet story… It’s been very intense filming the scenes between Melinda and Jim. It has hurt me to see what they go through. A lot of our viewers believe in ghosts and the supernatural... Other people watch it for the dresses and because David Conrad, who plays Jim, is hot. At the grocery store, people come up and ask for help because their grandmother just passed away... I’m like, "I’m just getting lettuce. I can’t help you!" I’m dating my new co-star Jamie Kennedy... He really saw who I was as a person more than anybody had ever done in my whole life. The show is doing something powerful for people... We take something that’s normally tragic and we give hope. I got to direct an episode of the new series... I loved it because I’m bossy by nature. My first acting role came along when I was 10... I didn’t want to do anything else. I wanted to do something that in my own way would make people happy. I envy people like Cher and Madonna who sing and act... I’ve enjoyed making records but it has been tough finding people to take me seriously.
