Alex Kingston hints about ITV's Marchlands (VIDEO)
Alex Kingston and Dean Andrews play a couple torn apart by sinister forces in new five-part drama Marchlands. ER star Alex and Ashes to Ashes actor Dean play Helen and Eddie Maynard, who are living in the old house in the 1987, when their daughter's imaginary friend threatens to break up their happy home. Alex told whatsontv.co.uk: "They're a very loving couple but the events that happen within the story put their marriage under strain really." Dean added: "Their little girl has got an imaginary friend - it starts to become more real as time goes on and Eddie starts to investigate." Marchlands starts on Thursday February 3 at 9pm on ITV1. An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
