The hot-headed pub owner has recently been racked with guilt over the way she’s treated her kids, Bobby and her step-son, Max who not so long ago, chose to go and live with his Aunty Nicole Owen, (the sister of Mercedes murdered hubby Russ Owen), rather than stay with Mercedes in Chester.
Drinking, drug taking and general partying have often taken priority over staying at home with her kids and viewers have recently seen the McQueen’s reckless and wild side emerge once again as she’s embarked on a passionate and destructive affair with Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) behind her husband Sylver’s back.
