Actor Adam Deacon has denied harassing fellow star Noel Clarke.
He appeared at Hammersmith Magistrates’ Court, west London, accused of posting abusive and threatening messages on social media relating to the Adulthood director.
The 31-year-old actor was arrested earlier this month after failing to appear in court.

When Deacon, from Bethnal Green, east London, did not turn up for the hearing, a warrant was issued for his arrest. He later appeared at Hammersmith Magistrates’ Court and was bailed to reappear there yesterday.
He pleaded not guilty to one count of harassment between March 5 and December 19 last year.

District Judge Richard Blake fixed a trial date at the same court of May 11 and for the case to be mentioned on April 13. Deacon is excused attendance for the April hearing.
His bail conditions state that he is not to contact Noel or his family and must not post anything on social media or an electronic device with regard to Clarke and his family. Also he is not to enter the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
The judge removed a condition of residence.
The actor, who is also a rapper, played firearms officer Robbie in Channel 4 police drama Babylon which screened last year. He won the Bafta Rising star award in 2012, an award which former Doctor Who star Clarke himself won in 2009.
He is best known for playing main character Jay in the films Kidulthood, written by and co-starring Noel, and Adulthood, written and directed by Noel.
Deacon wrote and directed a spoof of the films, Anuvahood, in 2011, and the pair fell out on Twitter in the same year.
