Patsy Palmer sends emotional message of support to Barbara Winsdor
It was recently revealed the EastEnders legend has been living with Alzheimer’s disease
Following the sad news EastEnders actress Barbara Windsor has been living with Alzheimer’s disease, her former co-star Pasty Palmer has paid an emotional tribute.
Taking to Instagram this weekend, Patsy, 45, uploaded a black and white photo of Barbara, 80, and her husband Scott Mitchell, writing: I’m writing this in hope that my friend will read it.
‘Barbara you are an amazing woman. You are strong, kind, loving and super clever. You may not be feeling too well right now but you got this girl!
‘You are blessed with the best husband who has always been madly in love with you and still is. Stay strong, Babs. You are loved. I’m praying you’ll feel better Babs and beat this bloody horrible thing you are going through.’
Patsy’s message comes after Shane Richie – who played barman Alfie Moon alongside Barbara – shared some touching words on Twitter.
He wrote: ‘So my gal The Duchess has got a “little touch of forgetfulness” cause I promise you that’s what she’ll be calling it right now… the thing with this forgetfulness palaver is she might not seem herself on certain days and that’s OK.
