BBC announce one-off special, Adele at the BBC
BBC Music announced that BBC One will host a one-hour, one-off show, Adele at the BBC, featuring the singing sensation performing her songs and talking to Graham Norton.
Adele said: "I can't wait for the show. The BBC has been wonderful to me over the years and Graham and I get on great so it's going to be a laugh."
Graham said: “This is the music event of the year and I'm thrilled to be part of bringing it to BBC One. This opportunity to spend an hour with Adele, her music and her stories is a truly rare treat. If I wasn't hosting this special I'd be sat at home watching it!”
The show will screen on BBC One in November and Adele will perform classic tracks as well as songs from her new album, 25.
Some very lucky members of the public will win tickets to watch Adele live. Click here for details on how to register and apply. Registration is open now until midnight on Wednesday.
It will be Adele’s first TV performance since she performed Skyfall at the 85th Academy Awards in February 2013, where she won Best Original Song for the theme tune to the 23rd James Bond film.
The BBC has supported Adele since the beginning of her career. Her first ever play was Daydreamer on Reggie Yates' BBC Radio 1 show and she made her debut TV performance on Later With Jools Holland on BBC Two in the same year, performing the same song.
