Jeremy Vine will present a tribute to the late rock icon David Bowie on BBC1 at 7.30pm on Monday, January 11.
David Bowie: Sound and Vision will explore the life and work of Bowie, considered one of the most influential musicians of his time, constantly reinventing his persona and sound, from the 1960s psychedelia of Space Oddity, through Ziggy Stardust and the Thin White Duke, to his later pop rock of Let's Dance and experiments with hard rock (Tin Machine) and drum & bass (Earthling).
Bowie died this weekend after an 18-month battle with cancer, but not before he released his final studio album, Blackstar, on Friday, his 69th birthday.

David Bowie – Five Years, 8pm, Yesterday – the UKTV channel will repeat this critically-acclaimed 2013 BBC documentary, which follows the musician over key one-year periods in his early career.
David Bowie – Five Years, 11.15pm, BBC2 – the same documentary will also screen on BBC2 tonight. The snooker will switch to BBC1.
David Bowie: Video Killed the Radio Star, 7:30pm, Sky Arts (Tuesday, January 12) – The documentary features directors David Mallett and Tim Pope among others, discussing the challenges, expense, and visions behind David Bowie's music videos.
