Ben Miller has revealed he missed his comedy partner Alexander Armstrong while out filming Death In Paradise. Ben was stationed in Guadeloupe for six months to make the new BBC1 detective drama, and said he missed his family and his pals - including his Armstrong And Miller sidekick. "I was homesick and I did miss him, it was weird. But we wrote to each other," he said. "It was nice to get things from home. Lots of my friends wrote to me and came out to stay. Strangely, no one was that keen to visit when I was in Nuneaton," he joked. The duo are "having a bit of a rest" from their sketch show but are developing a new sitcom based in Edwardian times, called Felix And Murdo, by Men Behaving Badly writer Simon Nye. "It's about two Edwardian gentlemen with time on their hands. It's this halcyon period when we lived off the fat of the land, after the Victorians but before the nasty stuff of the 20th century had happened. And these two make the most of it and have a high old time," he said. Death In Paradise begins on Tuesday October 25 at 9pm on BBC1.
