The final scene in this Christmas classic sees friends and family rallying round James Stewart's George Bailey in a wonderful display of human kindness. A close contender for the best movie in this category is Mr Scrooge's visit to the future in the 1970s musical, Scrooge.
Best Christmas Day Gathering: About a Boy
It takes them a while to get there but they all find the perfect Christmas combination by the end.
