Casualty, 8.50pm, BBC1

There’s a horrible sense of foreboding in tonight’s episode, as Connie addresses her health issues by going for a scan. It’s clear there’s something seriously wrong, but what could be slowing down the force of nature that is Mrs B? One thing’s for sure, her ailment hasn’t affected her one- liners – Connie’s horrified to spot Elle flirting with a patient’s dad, and doesn’t hesitate to tell her so. But with Alicia playing Cupid, could this mark Elle’s route back into the dating game? Meanwhile, Charlie is nursing a hangover after an epic night out with Josh (there’s still no proper explanation as to why he’s back, by the way), Ethan’s enjoying his studies and Dylan needs Max’s advice on a very unexpected matter… Rating: ****

Strictly Come Dancing, 6.45pm, BBC1

Fun as it is to see the celebrities and their pro partners dancing without the threat of elimination, it wouldn’t be a competition without a bit of jeopardy – and if nobody went home the series would never end – which is no bad thing as far as we’re concerned! With the scores from week one carrying over, the celebrities on the bottom half of the leaderboard will be pulling out all the stops to wow the judges and avoid being the first to leave tomorrow night. We won’t be able to hide our disappointment if Rev Richard Coles doesn’t produce some headline-stealing moves for the occasion – we’re expecting big things from him! Who will you be voting for? Saturday Mash-Up!, 9.00am, CBBC & BBC2

Saturday morning telly used to be dominated by live kids’ shows like Going Live! and SM:tv, and this new programme marks a return to the good old days of live entertainment for children (and the hungover). Yasmin Evans, Jonny Nelson and Hacker T Dog host the two-hour fun-fest featuring music, games, competitions, CBBC favourites Danger Mouse and The Next Step, and special guest Steve ‘Deadly 60’ Backshall! Rating: *****
