Big Bang Theory stars are highest paid actors on TV

The stars of The Big Bang Theory have all been named The World’s Highest Paid TV Actors of 2015 by Forbes.

Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon Cooper in the sitcom about a group of science geeks, topped the list, while co-star Johnny Galecki (Leonard Hofstadter) came second and Simon Helberg (Howard Wolowitz) and Kunal Nayyar (Raj Koothrappali) shared third place.

Jim is thought to have earned £18.5 million in the last 12 months, while Johnny’s estimated earnings are £17 million and Simon and Kunal’s stand at £12.8 million.

They share third place with NCIS star Mark Harmon and Two And A Half Men star Ashton Kutcher.

Ashton’s Two And A Half Men co-star Jon Cryer and Everybody Loves Raymond’s Ray Romano tie for the seventh spot with estimated earnings of £9.6 million for the year.

Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey – whose character was recently killed off after 10 years on the medical drama – and The Mentalist’s Simon Baker share ninth place with £7.6 million.

The Modern Family male cast dominated the lower part of the list thanks to their recent new contract deals.

Ty Burrell is 11th with £7.3 million, Jesse Tyler Ferguson is 12th with £7 million and Eric Stonestreet and Ed O’Neill are tied in 13th place with £6.7 million.

House Of Cards star Kevin Spacey is last on the list at number 15 with £6 million.
