Brendan Cole 'shocked' by Heather Mills dancing
Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan Cole has apparently slated Heather Mills' decision to take part in the American version of the ballroom show. The professional dancer, who is known for his antics both on and off the dance floor, said he was "shocked" that the 39-year-old would be taking part in Dancing With The Stars, according to the Daily Express. "I'm shocked and almost disgusted about it," he told the paper. "It would be my fear, well anyone's fear, to lose a limb. As a dancer, I've often thought about if I would keep going or if I would even be able to keep going. "But the dances are so complicated and the footwork required for them is so much about the way your legs twist or your feet turn. I just wonder if she will be able to do it. "Maybe she will prove me wrong. I sort of hope she does," he added. Brendan's comments came as Heather, who's been praised by disability campaigners for her decision, admitted her prosthetic leg might limit her chances of success. "I'm quite happy to be thrown around and hopefully my leg will stay on," she joked. "It's very unlikely it is going to fly off, although it would be quite funny. I'll have a strap on, which I wouldn't normally wear in everyday life."
