Brooke Vincent shares tip for juggling Christmas shopping with Dancing On Ice
Brooke Vincent has revealed she can do a turn on the ice as she prepares for Dancing On Ice
Actress Brooke Vincent has admitted to avoiding stressful Christmas shopping while juggling both Coronation Street filming and training for Dancing On Ice.
The 25-year-old, who plays Sophie Webster in the ITV soap, has added to her busy winter work schedule by signing up for the comeback series of the broadcaster’s glamorous contest.
Brooke, who usually spends Christmas with her family in Gran Canaria, said: “I’m trying to do it all online because I feel like the second I walk to the shops I’m going to get stressed and if I get stressed I end up buying things for people that I’ve already got things for.
“I’m trying to balance it all at the minute.”
Just days before she makes her television debut in the rink, she continued: “It’s hard but it’s different, it definitely pushes me.
“We have to learn a new skill in four weeks and then perform it, so that makes me really nervous, but I can do a turn on the ice so far and I have my own little language for it. I make up my own names for moves like a ‘swoosh’ and a ‘swirl’.”
