Connie's not happy!

Casualty fans this Saturday will be giving nul points to the schedulers as the show won't be on due to the Eurovision Song Contest.

The BBC1 hit is a fixture on Saturday nights, but it’s had to make way for the annual competition, which will again see Graham Norton providing the commentary.

So, those of you hoping to hear the latest on Charlie and Duffy, who got back together in Saturday’s Casualty, will just have to wait!

It's going to be a while before we hear anything more from Charlie and Duffy

Meanwhile, the Casualty cast were out in force for the Bafta Television Awards last night.

However, there was more disappointment for fans of the show as Casualty missed out in the Soap & Continuing drama category to EastEnders.

But the show’s official Twitter feed was gallant in defeat declaring EastEnders worthy winners. Of course, viewers will recall that the show picked up the coveted award last year at the Baftas – and, well, you can’t win every year!

Saturday’s schedule looks like this on BBC1… Would I Like to You? 7.30pm, then the Eurovision Song Contest from 8pm to 11.40pm.

We will keep you updated on when Casualty returns - it's expected to be the following Saturday.
