Cheeky Girls' Gabriela cautioned for shoplifting
Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia has been given a police caution after shoplifting at a supermarket in Cheshire. According to reports officers were called in to the Sainsburys in Wilmslow, Cheshire, on Friday, after the 26-year-old was detained for stealing groceries said to be worth around £40. The reality TV star and singer was cautioned after being taken to a nearby police station. Gabriela, together with his twin sister Monica, first found fame on the 2002 series Popstars: The Rivals, on which Cheryl Cole's group Girls Aloud was formed. The Romanian twosome failed to impress the judges but became a hit with the public after their memorable audition. They went on to have four top ten hits, including Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum), the song written by their mum which they performed at the original audition. The pair also appeared in their own Living TV reality show, Living With...The Cheeky Girls. Gabriela was formerly engaged to MP Lembit Opik, but ended their relationship shortly after he proposed in 2008.
