Cheryl Cole denies she's engaged to Tre
Cheryl Cole has denied she is engaged to boyfriend Tre Holloway. The Girls Aloud star - who has been dating the dancer since the summer - has been at the centre of engagement rumours for the last few days following reports that Tre was already looking at rings and had asked Cheryl's dad for her hand in marriage.
But Cheryl, 29, has now taken to Twitter to end the speculation, writing: "Ok... That's enough silliness now from the media!! I am not, nor am I getting engaged or married!" The Fight For This Love singer then added: "Its pretty pathetic and very corny!!"
While Cheryl and Tre aren't hearing the tinkling of wedding bells just yet, their romance is said to be going strong. And Cheryl's bandmate Kimberley Walsh recently said she thinks their relationship could 'go the distance'.
She told Jonathan Ross: "She's known him for quite a long time. A few years, he danced for her the first time years and years ago. He's a lovely guy so I'm happy that he makes her happy. I think it could definitely go the distance, yeah, they're really happy." Cheryl split from footballer husband Ashley Cole in 2010 after four years of marriage.
