Coronation Street fans predict a long-awaited REUNION is on the cards for THIS favourite cobbles couple
Could there be romance in the air for Paul and Billy?
Coronation Street fans are convinced that there could be a reunion on the horizon for former couple Billy Mayhew and Paul Foreman.
Last night's trip to Weatherfield saw the pair united over David Platt's fight to prove that he wasn't the one who tried to kill rapist Josh Tucker.
After working out that Josh had raped David in the past, Paul took it upon himself to teach Josh a lesson by posing as a hospital worker and visiting him in his room.
As Paul told Josh that if he didn't change his statement then he would make sure the guards and kitchen staff in jail made his life a living misery, it seems his words somehow got through to a terrified Josh.

David was thrilled when he was told the good news about Josh changing his statement, especially because he was given fresh hope that he would be let out of prison the following day - just in time to marry Shona Ramsey.

But it wasn't David and Shona who got fans talking on social media, it was the relationship between Paul and Billy...
Despite being shocked that Billy had gone to great lengths to get David out of jail, the penny soon dropped for Billy when Paul's reaction hinted that while he was talking about Josh's attack on David, he was also talking about his own abuse at the hands of Kel.
Billy soon softened towards Billy for taking the law into his own hands, and promised that he would also be able to move forward just like David was doing.
At the end of the second episode last night the former couple shared a meaningful hug, giving fans hope that we could see a reunion on the cards.
Could Billy be the one to help Paul come to terms with what happened to him when he was a young boy?
And just how long will it take the pair to realise they're made for one another?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
