Coronation Street viewers stunned over shock Carla and Daniel scenes: 'Didn't see that coming'
Fans of the show couldn't believe what happened
Coronation Street fans were left shocked during last night's episode after it was revealed that Carla Connor and Daniel Osbourne are having a secret fling.
It was big day for Carla (Alison King) as - following her scary collapse - she awaited to see if Aidan and Kate are a match to go ahead with her much-needed kidney transplant.
And after deciding she needed someone to talk to, the factory owner headed over to visit Daniel (Rob Mallard) in his flat.
But before long, their friendship kicked up a gear as things got passionate between the unlikely pair.
Unfortunately, Daniel's ex girlfriend Sinead Tinker later decided she wanted to give their relationship another chance, but was left devastated after seeing the two kiss outside.
And although viewers have been watching the pair get close ever since Carla stepped back onto the cobbles, it seems like fans of the show were just as stunned by the pairing.

'@itvcorrie Carla and Daniel ? Didn’t see that one coming!', said one viewer.
Another said: 'OMG Carla & Daniel ...well I never saw that coming ....how fabulous!!!'
And they weren't the only ones...
Meanwhile, Peter Barlow later flew off the handle after overhearing about their blossoming romance.
And after criticising his ex Carla for sleeping with someone 17-years younger, Peter's jealousy over half brother Daniel boiled over. Eeeek!
It comes after Roy came to Carla’s rescue earlier this week when she dramatically collapsed in the Rovers, taking her to hospital before comforting her at her beside.
Roy also melted fans' hearts when he ensured the medical staff knew just how ill Carla had been, so when a nurse asked how she’d been feeling and Carla said “Yeah, fine,” Roy stepped in saying, “You’ve not been fine. As well as collapsing, she’s also been lethargic and exhausted. Not to mention exhausting.”
Coronation Street continues on Monday at 7.30pm.
