Dancing on Ice cuts no ice with Jack!

Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt, has revealed the one reality show he’d consider doing is Strictly Come Dancing.

But the 31-year-old star has ruled himself out of doing the “ice one”, or Dancing on Ice as it’s more commonly known!

Plus, Jack has also said that he wouldn't want to be a contestant on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! for fear of saying something that would get him fired!

Asked about whether he’d like to Strictly, Jack replied: “Probably I’d do that one over any of the others. I don’t want to do the ice one. I’d loose my job if I did I’m A Celebrity [because] I’d say something or upset someone.”

Jack added that Coronation Street might even ban him from I’m A Celebrity! “I don’t think work would let me,” he mussed.

Meanwhile, Jack was at the heart of huge drama tonight in Corrie as David was sent to prison for stealing his grandmother Audrey’s money, while his brother Nick escaped jail.

But despite Nick betraying David by accusing him of masterminding the theft, Jack revealed David isn’t hellbent on revenge.

“I think he wants to let bygones be bygones and move on. In prison him and Shona have a heart-to-heart and she says she’s going to kill Nick and he says: ‘No, I just want everyone to move on.'”

With David heading to prison, it will be a while before he and Shona can get married. But Jack said when their big day does finally arrive, he hopes they have a huge wedding.

“I would like a massive one but know probably won’t get it because they haven’t got any money for one thing now he’s given the barbers to gran… I imagine it will be a registrar down the town hall or in the bistro.”

Coronation Street continues on ITV.
