Coronation Street fans in stitches over Steve McDonald's EPIC Boy George costume
The taxi driver really went that extra mile for Robert’s stag do…
Steve McDonald had fans in stitches during Friday night’s episode of Coronation Street after dressing up as 80’s icon Boy George.
The taxi driver didn’t hold back as he channelled the Culture Club singer for Robert Preston’s stag do – who is set to tie the knot with Steve’s ex-wife Michelle Connor.
Making his grand entrance into the Rovers Return, viewers’ jaws almost hit the floor as Steve waltzed in singing one of Culture Club's biggest hits - Karma Chameleon.
Rushing to Twitter to praise his costume, one viewer said: ‘Steve McDonald as Boy George has to be the treat of the day’.
Another added: ‘Steve McDonald dressed as @BoyGeorge is the best thing I've seen since the time Norris turned up as Eartha Kitt!’
A third added: ‘Steve McDonald dressed as @BoyGeorge is just amazing! Best thing ever’.

And a fourth added: ‘Eat your heart out Boy George Steve McDonald is lookin' goooood!!’
However, it doesn’t seem like Boy George was a fan of Steve’s fancy dress, replying to a fan who asked him to give Steve marks out of 10, he said: ‘Nul points! Lol!’
Steve wasn’t the only one to channel the 80’s though as Robert turned up dressed as Queen frontman Freddie Mercury; Daniel Osbourne turned up as Jarvis Cocker; and Ryan Connor arrived dressed as Noel Gallagher.
Coronation Street continues on Monday from 7.30pm on ITV.
