Craig Revel Horwood says Strictly Come Dancing 'will be better' without Brendan Cole
The Strictly judge also blasted him as 'ungrateful'
Strictly Come Dancing might be another few months away, but it looks like the drama is already starting after judge Craig Revel-Horwood laid into former pro dancer Brendan Cole.
New Zealand-born professional, Brendan revealed back in January that he was 'devastated' the BBC decided not to renew his contract after 14 years working on the show.
And now sharp-tongued Craig has slammed his former co-star, saying the programme will be better without him.
Speaking to the Mirror, the 53-year-old said that any dancer should be thankful they had the opportunity to star on Strictly, adding Brendan is a 'fool' for slamming the show.
"Strictly will be better without Brendan. More fool him", Craig reportedly blasted.
"The show's done him wonders. It's done us all wonders. It's been fantastic. I would never complain about it. It's given us all platforms on which to stand.

"How many dancers in their life get a job that will last 15 years? Not many. Be grateful."
This comes after 41-year-old Brendan - who was paired with GMB's Charlotte Hawkins on last year's series - became visibly upset during an interview with Lorraine Kelly back in January.
The telly star admitted he was 'gutted' after losing his job, telling viewers: “I’m a little bit in shock, quite emotional, a bit raw about it.
“We get contracted year upon year. The BBC haven’t renewed my contract.
“They’ve made an editorial decision not to have me back - it’s done via a process of a phone call and stuff.
“I’m disappointed. It’s very hard to talk about.”
He continued: "It’s done via a process of a phone call and stuff. I have had 15 incredible series on the show.
"I’m very proud of the whole show. It’s a great team.”
Brendan then admitted that he 'always known this day would come', adding: "I’m a very strong character within the show, I have my strong views.”
