Dancing On Ice commentator Matt Chapman has left the show after one episode - official!
Dancing On Ice commentator Matt has officially left the series, confirm ITV
Dancing On Ice commentator Matt Chapman has left the programme after appearing in one episode.
Matt made his debut on the newly-rebooted reality show on Sunday, but ITV has confirmed he will no longer be appearing.
An ITV spokesman said: “We can confirm that Matt Chapman has left the show, and wish him all the very best and look forward to him reporting at ITV Racing at Warwick this weekend.”
The horse racing commentator and broadcaster replaced the late Tony Gubba for the series, who had appeared on every series of Dancing On Ice up until his death in 2013.
Matt, who received mixed reviews from viewers over his commentating style, told The Sun newspaper that he has “decided to hang up my skates, leave the rink and return to the turf”.
He added: “I wish the show the best of luck for the rest of the run.”
