EastEnders star Danny Dyer shares exciting news about his future at the BBC
Danny has been host of new game show The Wall
Danny Dyer has confirmed a second series of his popular new game show The Wall.
The EastEnders star said: “I can't believe we're doing another series of The Wall. I can't wait to get stuck back in and meet these new contestants and hopefully make them very rich. Drop 'em!"
As well as Danny, question master Angela Rippon will be back too, for what the Beeb's Controller of Entertainment Commissioning Kate Phillips called a "wildly unpredictable format".
She said: “I know Danny and Angela had an absolute ball making series one of The Wall and it’s great to see how much BBC One viewers have enjoyed the ride.
“This wildly unpredictable format, or nutty old show as Danny would say, has quickly become a Saturday night favourite for all ages, and I’m looking forward to more big drops, big shocks and big decisions in series two.’
Angela Rippon added: "I am so looking forward to another series being 'the voice' of The Wall. What a great opportunity for even more viewers to take on the challenge of The Wall and potentiality win life-changing sums of money."

Danny was confirmed as host of the UK version of The Wall at the start of the year, with the second series scheduled for 2020.
The Wall sees contestants drop balls down a massive 40ft wall in the hopes of winning a huge cash prize. But just as easily as they can build up their winnings, it can also be cruelly taken away.
