There's terrifying drama heading to Emmerdale as Pete Barton and Rhona Goskirk are caught up in a horror crash - but will anyone make it out alive?

Rhona Goskirk is left fighting for her life next week in Emmerdale when she is caught up in a horror crash caused by her boyfriend Pete Barton.

The day starts off innocently enough with Rhona hoping for a duvet day with Pete.

But when he decides to go to work despite being horribly hungover, she decides she might as well work and, when Vanessa Woodfield asks her to cover her shift, Rhona reluctantly agrees.

When Pete arrives at Butlers to work, Matty is so busy complaining about Cain that he forgets to tell him that the breaks on one of the tractors are dodgy - something that he's definitely going to regret by the end of the day.

As vet Rhona arrives at the farm to check on a herd of cows, she is confused to find they have gone missing and calls Pete to find out where they are.

But as hungover Pete goes to check his ringing phone while driving the dodgy tractor, disaster strikes when he almost runs Matty over, swerves, and ends up crashing into the barn, unable to stop thanks to the failed breaks.

However, it's only when Pete sees his phone that he realises Rhona is in the barn on the other side of a huge tower of hay bales... the ones he just crashed a tractor into.

As he races to find his girlfriend, he's horrified to see she has been pushed into a fence and has is impaled.
