The popular dance troupe - fronted by Ashley Banjo - will be looking for an amateur dancer who can 'steal the show'...

Ashley Banjo and Diversity - the dance crew who found fame on Britain's Got Talent - are to host a brand new one-off primetime dance entertainment show for ITV.

The hour-long special, Diversity Steal The Show, will boast lots of studio surprises and celebrity collaborations, culminating in a show-stopping finale performance incorporating the most entertaining amateur dancers.

Every element of the show will be choreographed by Ashley Banjo and one amateur dancer will 'steal the show' and win a fantastic prize.

Diversity became the nation's favourite dance troupe when they won the third series of Britain's Got Talent in 2009.

Diversity Britain's Got Talent

Diversity really did steal the show when they appeared on BGT in 2009... and won!

Siobhan Greene, Head of Entertainment at the ITV Network, said: "Diversity are national treasures and it feels so good to bottle their talent by putting their infectious energy and spirit on the screen. With their help they will in turn give ITV viewers the opportunity to have the moment of a life time and dance alongside this very special group and possibly steal the show."

Ashley Banjo said: "We can’t wait to start working with ITV on this show. Not only do we get to create breathtaking performances and collaborations, but we also get to pull pranks, have fun and show that you don't have to be a professional dancer to 'steal the show'."

Produced by Princess Productions, Diversity Steal The Show will air on ITV at the end of the year.
