Emmerdale star Dominic Power has revealed how he battled through filming chase scenes for the gripping Christmas special, despite suffering from terrible flu. The soap star's character Cameron Murray is at breaking point after killing Carl King and letting lover Chas Dingle take the blame. On Christmas Eve he is set to kidnap a member of the village and ends up killing again. When his victim nearly escapes, Cameron gives chase through the woods, and Dominic revealed he was not really feeling up to running around in the cold when he filmed the scenes. He said: "I'm a bit flued up at the moment, so I'm on lots of medication and I didn't really need uphill running in the woods! Which is what it was, take after take. "But it will look great, it's a really interesting way of shooting the chase sequence and the final deed." Dominic won't give any clues as to who his next victim will be, but he did give away one cliffhanger. He said: "The person appears in the woods and the audience assumes they've shaken Cameron and then he appears from nowhere and drags them out of sight."
