Their exchanges on Dragons' Den tend to be brusque, snippy and competitive, but it seems there's a thaw in the relationship between Peter Jones and Duncan Bannatyne. Entrepreneur Jones, 42, who once called Bannatyne 'a sly little s***', told Closer magazine: "It's taken five series, but I'm finally warming to him. I think as he becomes an OAP, he's mellowing slightly." He continued: "Before this series I couldn't stand him. But now we've been out for dinner together. It's quite a turnaround. He's getting old, and age is good for him." Mind you, Bannatyne, 59, was in no conciliatory mood talking to Hello!: “I’m wealthier and more successful than any of the other dragons!" The Scotman admitted that having a 'big ego' could help with entrepreneurial success and revealed that, while he hasn't had a facelift, he has had bags removed from under his eyes – twice. “The Bannatynes have bags under their eyes like John Prescott,” he explains.
