Eastenders fans are convinced Mel (Tamzin Outhwaite) and Jack (Scott Maslen) still have feelings for each other after their tender moment this week.
Viewers watched on as Jack invited his ex Mel over for a cup of tea after seeing her looking stressed out. Unbeknown to him, she's hiding her son Hunter who recently escaped from prison where he's serving time for murdering her other ex, Ray.
As the pair shared a moment together - talk soon turned to their own history.
"Jack, do you ever think about how different things could have been?" she said. "The what ifs, if onlys. If only I had sent Ray away, we would prob be married now. A family...kids...we'd live somewhere so peaceful by the sea. Hunter loves the sea."
Jack then pulled her in for a hug and said: "Come here, you're the toughest person I know. You'll get through this."
Fans went wild for their reunion, saying: "Jack and Mel are honestly so cute. jack is such a kindhearted man!"
Another said: "Still really stuck on this jack and mel ship when i KNOW it’s going to end in disaster.. why do i do this to myself."
They've had a rocky romance since Mel (Tamzin Outhwaite) returned to Walford in 2018. The pair quickly hit if off, despite her son's protesting, and Jack went on to propose to her.
But, the proposal was ruined when Mel's ex-husband Ray turned up and threw a spanner in the works. She got together with Ray, leading Jack to end things with her.

Ray then decided he wanted to remarry Mel, but there was a problem - he was already married. Armed with a plan, Mel went ahead with the wedding anyway but made sure was arrested for bigamy.
