EastEnders spoilers: Will Alfie pull through after explosive row in Boxing Day episode?
Last night’s Slater showdown left fans on the edge of their seats, and tonight’s episode is set to be even more tense.
Yesterday's hour-long special ended with Hayley shoving Alfie down the stairs of the Slater home after a huge row, leaving viewers unsure whether Alfie was alive.
In tonight's episode, Kat will turn on Hayley, attacking her before Stacey manages to pull her off the terrified mum.
Kat then turns to her husband's lifeless body to figure out whether she's lost him forever.
The family tensions came to a head in last night's Christmas episode as Kat broke down after learning Alfie was the father of Hayley's baby daughter Cherry.
At the start of the episode, Alfie did everything he could to stop Kat finding out about his child with Hayley, but he was caught out by Stacey who spotted them kissing and gave them an ultimatum.
However, Kat discovered the truth of Alfie’s infidelity after finding a lock of baby Cherry's hair which Hayley planned to give to Alfie as a gift.

Kat could barely contain her rage, berating her husband for taking advantage of young Hayley’s fragile state, to which Alfie responded with a bitter rant about how badly the Slater women had treated him over the years.
Hayley turned on Alfie after he threatened his wife and mocked the sexual abuse she endured as a teenager, pushing the father of her child violently down the stairs, leaving Shane Ritchie’s character for dead.
Fans were quick to turn to social media after the tense Christmas episode, with several applauding Jessie Wallace's performance as a distressed Kat Moon.
'Give Jessie Wallace all the awards,' Tweeted one fan, while another agreed: 'In full soap meltdown mode there isn't a better actor in the country than @JessieWallaceUK #EastEnders ladies knocking it out of the park tonight.'
A third added: 'Jessie Wallace did an outstanding job in the Christmas special yesterday, loved it.'
EastEnders continues tonight at 8:30pm on BBC One.
