EastEnders star Tilly Keeper thrilled with Louise Mitchell pregnancy storyline: ‘The girl's got to have a wake up call’
Louise Mitchell is pregnant with Keanu's baby…
EastEnders star Tilly Keeper says Louise Mitchell’s pregnancy is the “best” thing to happen to her character.
The actress, who has played Louise for three years, discovered that she was pregnant with boyfriend Keanu Taylor's (Danny Walters) child last month.
But after initially considering a termination, Louise changed her mind and decided to keep the baby.
Now Tilly believes that Louise’s pregnancy will finally give her character the wake up call she needs to grow up.
"It's been a really lovely storyline to get my teeth into and I think it's really going to help develop the character which is something I'm really excited about,” Tilly told The Sun.
"I really wanted Louise to mature and claim responsibility for her actions.”

Tilly added: “I think a pregnancy storyline is the best way for that to happen. The girl's got to have a wake up call sometime that the world doesn't revolve around her and bringing another little human into the world is going to do the trick.”
Louise isn't the only Mitchell who is pregnant with Keanu's child. Sharon (Letitia Dean) discovered this month that she too is expecting.
And Tilly admitted she’s not looking forward to the drama that will follow once Louise’s dad Phil, and Sharon’s husband, discovers the truth.
“I don't want to think about the repercussions of this reveal,” she added. “As long as me and the baby are OK that's all that matters."
The news may get out sooner rather than later though as next week Louise lets slip to Keanu that Sharon is expecting a child.
Phil feels bad that he let slip to the family that Sharon is pregnant when she specifically asked him to keep it under wraps. He talks to the family and asks that they keep the news to themselves - seems like Louise didn't listen...
