Emma Watson: I've wanted to cut my hair for years!
Emma Watson has had her locks locked and gone for a new, cropped hairdo. The Harry Potter star has said goodbye to her famous alter-ego Hermione Granger by cutting off her golden locks for an edgier elfin cut, which she couldn't wait to show off to fans on Facebook. "Cut my hair off a few days ago, feels incredible - I love it, I've wanted to do this for years and years; it's the most liberating thing ever," she posted on her blog. Emma, who is studying at Brown University in the States, is in New York to start promoting part one of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows. The 20-year-old is being replaced as the face of Burberry by model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, although the iconic British brand insists it will not cut all ties with her. "Emma is a big part of the Burberry family and is also a wonderful friend," chief creative officer Christopher Bailey said to Now. "I have huge admiration for her both personally and professionally. We've worked with Emma on various projects and campaigns and will continue to collaborate together."
