Emmerdale confirms THIS character is set for shock ARREST next week
Maya Stepney's months of abuse finally catch up with her next week when the police arrive...
Justice is finally served in next week's Emmerdale when Maya Stepney gets arrested for sexually abusing Jacob Gallagher.
This latest twist in Maya's grooming storyline will come as welcome news to soap fans, who have been desperate to see the paedophile teacher face up to her heinous crimes.
Knowing that Maya has still got her claws into Jacob, David decides to take drastic measures next week and asks Ryan to install some spy software on Jacob's computer so that he can see what Maya and Jacob are discussing.
Ryan is initially reluctant to get involved, but agrees to help and soon David can see everything that is going on between his son and former girlfriend.
Later Jacob heads to Leyla's house under the pretence that he is going to revise for his exams. But as soon as her back is turned, he searches for Maya's passport, and is thrilled when he finds it.
Jacob messages Maya to let her know he has got it, but as the pair message back and forth, they have no idea David can see everything they're saying.

As the pair plan to run away together, they're oblivious that David is one step ahead of them, and as Maya waits at the cricket pavilion for Jacob, she is shocked when David turns up instead.
This is the first time that David has come face-to-face with his evil ex, and he lashes out, telling Maya exactly what he thinks of her.
But even with her grim secrets out, Maya is still playing the innocent, and begs David to let her leave Emmerdale and Jacob behind and start a new life alone.
But thankfully David has more sense than to let her go, and as she tries to make a run for it, police sirens approach and Maya is cornered.
Jacob arrives just in time to see his older 'girlfriend' taken away in a police car, his world shattering around him.
But as Jacob looks broken, David prays that he has done the right thing, and that one day his son will forgive him.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
