Emmerdale stars Danny Miller and Adam Thomas reunited for charity challenge
The boys were back together again for an episode of ITV2 game show Release The Hounds.
Emmerdale stars Danny Miller and Adam Thomas were reunited onscreen last night. Sadly it wasn't because Adam is returning to the ITV soap. His character Adam Barton is still on the run.
But the real-life friends were contestants on ITV 2 gameshow, Release The Hounds. They were joined by Adam's real-life twin brother, Scott (of ITV 2's Love Island fame), and between them the Manchester lads managed to raise £15,000 for Danny's childrens' charity, Once Upon A Smile, which helps provide practical and emotional support to bereaved families.
But it was no breezy walk in the woods as Danny, Adam and Scott shrieked their way through a number of creepy challenges to win the money!
The trio were attacked by spooky-looking children and had to make it across a minefield of fireballs. And that was just for starters as they were left to face a pack of scary dogs with very sharp teeth!
"That’s the scariest thing I’ve ever done. I’ve never been chased by dogs before and I don’t want to do it again," said Adam. “It’s been scary but I’m glad we did it.”
At the end Danny said: “I don’t mean to get too emotional, but you don’t know how much this means for the charity.”

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!
Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.
Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)
And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
