Emmerdale viewers in hysterics as Harry Potter star makes surprise cameo
Viewers couldn’t believe it when Lord Voldemort turned up in the village…
Emmerdale viewers couldn’t believe their luck when infamous Harry Potter character Lord Voldemort made a shock appearance during Thursday night’s episode.
But it wasn’t quite the cameo you’d expect.
As Vanessa Woodfield worked herself into a state over the RCVS inspection following a bunch of stolen ketamine, Paddy Kirk dropped another bombshell on her.
As the inspector arrived, a horrified Paddy revealed that Lord Voldemort had gone missing.
‘Voldemort’s gone walkabout’, he told Vanessa.

As chaos ensued while Paddy tried to find the reptile, viewers watching at home were in stitches over the snake’s name and its nod to the popular film franchise.
One viewer said: ‘The snake is called Voldemort!!’
Another added: ‘Laughing at the paddy and vanessa scene and who would call a snake voldemort #emmerdale.’
A third said: ‘Voldermort's gone walk about LOL #emmerdale.’
While a fourth added: ‘What a name for a snake’.
Another viewer tweeted: ‘A snake called Voldemort this is why I love #Emmerdale’.
With another joked: ‘#Emmerdale Voldemort the snake has gone back to the Death Eaters Lol.’
Fans of Harry Potter will know that Voldemort is the main antagonist in the J.K. Rowling series who had tried to kill Harry since he was a baby.
Emmerdale returns to ITV on Tuesday April 3.
