This Emmerdale legend could die! 'Everything happens so fast,' reveals star
Gaynor Faye on how one moment of madness by Megan Macey leads to one of the show's biggest characters having serious injuries...
Emmerdale is hit with another life-threatening crisis next week when Pollard falls unconscious after being knocked down by a car!
Megan is driving with her daughter, Eliza, and texting Frank to say she’s running late for their lunch, when she smashes into the vehicle in front.
“It’s one of those things where you’re in a daze and everything happens so fast,” explains Gaynor Faye, who plays the mum. “Eliza is okay – that’s her first check. Megan doesn’t even realise somebody was hurt in the crash.”
As events unfold, Megan’s utterly horrified by the carnage she’s caused for the sake of a text – and so is the other driver, who is Kim Tate’s estranged son, Jamie! He’s come to the village for an interview at the vet clinic when absent-minded Megan runs into him, which results in his car hitting Pollard.
Despite being carted off to hospital in an ambulance, Pollard is worrying about Faith and desperate to see her, having been told his girlfriend is upset at the way he’s been acting.
Meanwhile, unaware of Pollard’s crash, Faith is in The Woolie moaning to Paddy’s dad, Bear, and Chas about Pollard. Bear’s happy to provide a shoulder to cry on. How will Faith respond when smitten Bear moves in for a kiss?
