Fearne, who's married to Jesse Wood, the son of Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood, has recently  written her third book called Happy  which lifts the lid on her battle with depression and was  a guest herself on Lorraine's show a few weeks ago.  Opening up about her struggles with the mental illness she explained, “I’m very lucky as I love my job and I’m really lucky as I’ve got a gorgeous family. But unfortunately neither of those things make me immune to the other things that go on in life – loss, bereavement, anger frustration, depression....

“It’s something that happened to me and I feel like it’s something that won’t happen to me again but I don’t know. It might be naive, it might be optimistic, but it was definitely a time of great learning for me."

Former Daybreak presenter, Christine Lampard has been fronting the show this week during Lorraine's absence and Countryfile's Helen Skelton has also done a stint in the hot seat.

ITV’s Lorraine airs on weekdays at 8.30am.
