Gavin and Stacey's Joanna Page says Christmas special script has already made her laugh and cry
The one-off special will air on Christmas Day
Gavin and Stacey's Joanna Page has teased more details from the hotly-anticipated upcoming Christmas special.
The cast of the hit series reunited for the first rehearsals earlier this month, and actress Joanna, who plays Stacey, said it was a very emotional affair.
"When we had the read-through, I walked in and it was so emotional. I hadn’t seen so many of the cast for so many years.
“Then we sat down to read the script and it was like we’d never been away. We all came together like a big family. It was really lovely. We had a right laugh.”
The one-off special is due to air on Christmas Day and Joanna promises that it will definitely live up to the hype.
She added to the Daily Star, “The script is brilliant. It’s really good. It made me cry, it made me laugh and it made me think, ‘I just want to spend Christmas with this family’.
