Fans loving the morning show's new addition
It maybe raining cats and dogs outside but Good Morning Britain viewers were all sunshine and light about weather woman Lucy Verasamy on Wednesday morning's show.
Fans are calling for the 37-year-old to be a permanent fixture for their morning TV fix. Lucy took over the weather today from regular presenter Alex Bersford, who is believed to be taking time off to take part in the Dancing On Ice tour.
But who is Lucy? We did a little digging to find out more...
1. Lucy is from Norfolk
Lucy grew up in Norfolk. Growing up she studied geography at school in King Lynn before graduating in the subject from Brunel University.
2. She made her TV debut in 2005
Lucy's TV career started when she became a regular weather girl on the Sky News morning show Sunrise. She joined the ITV team in 2010
