Gordon Ramsay has branded Sarah Symonds a 'slapper' for revealing more sordid details about their alleged affair. Professional mistress Sarah claimed to have slept with the fiery TV chef seven times and had phone sex with him - but Gordon told a cookery show audience in Birmingham: "If I was really going to cheat it wouldn't be with a complete slapper." Gordon hit back after Sarah told a Sunday paper of their alleged affair - even claiming that it 'saved his marriage' to wife Tana. According to Monday's Daily Mirror, Sarah said: My relationship with Gordon is probably the reason their 12-year marriage has lasted this long. A mistress keeps a marriage going. His wife might be able to forgive him a one-off but I am far from a one-off." Sarah insisted that Gordon's marriage to Tana was unhappy and she became his mistress and soul-mate during an affair that took place in both London in Los Angeles. She said Gordon had phoned her hundreds of times and that they'd met at least 18 times - while Gordon admitted that although he knew her they had only met four times. She also claimed that the pair once had phone sex on a Eurostar train, adding: "Anyone could have overheard what he was saying." But Gordon continued to make light of Sarah's claims at his performance at the BBC's Good Food Show on Sunday - even jokingly suggesting he'd been having an affair with cookery legend, Delia Smith. He said: "Can I start by saying, yes it is true, it is official - I have been shagging Delia." He later added: "I was watching TV last night and tuned into a new show on Channel 4 called Gordon Ramsay's Bedroom Nightmares. And then I switched over to E4 - and it was Shag Along With Ramsay."
