Paul Hollywood, Sandi Toksvig, Noel Fielding and Prue Leith host two festive specials of the Great British Bake Off.
Fans of the Great British Bake Off are in for a treat this Christmas with not one, but two festive editions set to air on Channel 4 in December. Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith, Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig will be decking out the tent in tinsel in preparation for the seasonal specials.
In each one, four contestants from previous series will return to the tent. They will go head to head in three seasonal challenges to decide who is the Star Baker. And, presumably to confuse us viewers, Channel 4 have decided to give each show a slightly different name.
So, in The Great Christmas Bake Off former GBBO bakers Paul Jagger (from series six in 2015), Beca Lyne-Pirkis (series four in 2013), Selasi Gbormittah and Val Stones (both from series seven last year) will return.
Meanwhile, the Great Festive Bake Off another quartet of former contestants will don their aprons once more. Testing their prowess and trying to impress Paul and Prue will be Benjamina Ebuehi and Rav Bansal from series seven, Rob Billington from series two and Sandy Docherty who featured in series six.
The Great Christmas Bake Off and The Great Festive Bake Off will be on Channel 4 during the festive season and the dates and times will be announced in due course.
