There is great news for fans of a binge-worthy Netflix thriller because yet another of Harlan Coben's best-selling novels has been made into a TV series.

The author, who has brought us amazingly tense thrillers like Fool Me Once, Safe and Stay Close announced on his social media page that another of his books, Caught, has been filmed in Buenos Aires and Bariloche and will be out next year.

The story of Caught follows Haley McWaid who never gave her parents a moment's worry. Until one morning her mother wakes to find that her seventeen-year-old daughter didn't come home the night before. The community is stunned by her loss and 3 months pass without a word and everyone assumes the worst.

Meanwhile, Wendy Tynes is a reporter on a mission: to identify and bring down sexual predators. Her latest target is a social worker known as a friend to troubled teens. But Wendy soon realizes she can't trust her own instincts - or the motives of the people around her - and that this story is more twisted than she could have imagined.

Caught will star Soledad Villamil (The Secret in Their Eyes) as main character Ema Garay, as well as Alberto Ammann (Narcos), Juan Minujín and Matías Recalt, who previously starred in one of Netflix's most-watched movies, Society of the Snow.

Coben's novels have proved to be a huge success for Netflix, with Fool Me Once breaking streaming records when it was released in January 2024.

Following on from Fool Me Once which boasted huge names like Joanna Lumley, Michelle Keegan and Richard Armitage, it was also announced earlier this year that Missing You is the next of Coben's novels to be filmed in the UK for Netflix.

Missing You, which has an all-star cast including Sir Lenny Henry, Ashley Walters, James Nesbitt and Richard Armitage, is a five-part story about a Manchester detective Kat Donovan, played by former EastEnders star Jessica Plummer, whose loving fiancé Josh went missing eleven years previously. Then she sees him mysteriously appear on a dating app.

From then on the twists and turns get more intense and bizarre as Kat delves into what might have happened to Josh and if it could be linked to the tragic death of her father.

Caught and Missing You are coming to Netflix in 2025. Fool Me Once, Stay Close and Safe are available to stream on Netflix now.
