Heartbreak for THIS EastEnders couple as their marriage is torn apart
Rainie Branning is left devastated in tonight's EastEnders after Jack returns from France with bad news...
Tonight's EastEnders will see Rainie Branning left upset when Jack comes home to Walford with the news that his brother, Max, isn't with him.
After the Branning brothers went off to France to escape Mel Owen's plans for revenge on Jack following his role in getting Hunter Owen locked for Ray Kelly's murder, Rainie has been at a loss at home on her own.
She has even found herself caught up in drama with Stuart Highway as a way to keep herself busy in Max's absence.
Before he left Max made it very clear that she wasn't welcome on their little European adventure... but made out that it was because he needed her back in Albert Square to keep the business running.
Rainie has been on countdown to the date that Max is due back, so when Jack returns tonight without his brother, Rainie is left fearing the worst.
And it seems she is right to worry, because in tomorrow night's trip to Walford, she finds out exactly what is keeping her estranged husband in France.

Knowing that her job, her home, and of course her access to her little niece, Abi, is all down to her being married to Max, she panics that the end of her marriage also means the end of her life as she knows it.
But how will Rainie cope with the news? Will she move on with someone new herself?
