Holby City spring trailer: Dom's abusive ex Isaac is back!
Holby City's spring trailer has just landed! And it looks like there's plenty of emotional turmoil in store for Dominic...
After a gripping crossover episode on Tuesday night, Holby City has just released its spring preview – and it's packed with some major teasers.
As the BBC medical drama celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, it seems like the drama has been cranked up a notch, most notably with a large dose of trauma for Dr Dominic Copeland (David Ames).

As if poor Dom hasn’t been through enough in his time at Holby, it looks like life is set to get even more complicated for the medic, who’s seen breaking down in tears in the trailer.
It seems there’s a major showdown between Dom and surgeon Ange Godard (Dawn Steele). An emotional Dom is seen yelling at Ange: ‘Tell me I’m wrong!’ Wrong about what? The plot thickens…
Things appear to look up for Dom, though, when his beloved hubby Lofty (Lee Mead) returns from his travels. But there’s a not-so-nice reunion in store for Dom as his abusive ex-boyfriend Isaac Mayfield (Marc Elliot) returns. Could Dom be in real danger this time?

Elsewhere, there are some new faces at the hospital. Chloe Godard (Amy Lennox) gets a blast from the past when her on/off boyfriend Evan turns up at Holby – and he’s played by none other than Jack Ryder, aka EastEnders’ tragic Jamie Mitchell. Evan wants Chloe to give their relationship another go – but is she keen?
Meanwhile, fiery surgeon Jac Naylor (Rosie Marcel) has a new nemesis in the shape of Kian Madani (played by West End star Ramin Karimloo). Kian tries to win over Jac with his charms – but we all know that’s not going to work! Kian soon proves he’s no pushover though – has Jac finally met her match?
And it seems there could be love in the air for some of our Holby favourites. When Fletch (Alex Walkinshaw) supports Ange against the backlash from the Holly Cartwright case next week, will she start to see him in a whole new light?
And, following his near-fatal car accident recently, could romance be on the cards for lovable surgeon Sacha Levy (Bob Barrett)?
There are certainly lots of questions. Stay tuned to Holby City as all will be revealed…
Holby City continues Tuesdays at 8pm on BBC1.
