Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson says he won’t let soap bosses kill off Ste Hay at the hands of Breda McQueen
Ste isn't going anywhere if Kieron gets his way...
Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson has vowed to fight show bosses if they ever try and have his character Ste Hay killed off by notorious serial killer Breda McQueen.
The actor admitted he has no plans to let Ste become the latest victim of Breda, who has been killing off men since she arrived in the village.
“I've thought this for quite a few times, thinking if Breda's killing bad dads in Hollyoaks, I should be the one that's raising the biggest flag like, 'Come and pick me!' Kieron told The Sun.
"But I've been in this show a long time so there's no way I'm getting my head taken off with a brick by Breda.”
He added: "I'm going out with a bigger bang than that! I think it's a brilliant storyline what they're doing with the Breda one, but yeah it's one of those things isn't it, whenever you have a big stunt, it's like oh am I in the stunt this year, hope not.
"But that's the message at the minute, am I a bad dad, I don't want to get killed by Breda. I wouldn't let it happen. I'd be like, 'Nah you're not killing me!'"

Ste is currently involved with a group of far right activists – and Kieron reckons thugs Stuart and Jonny are far more dangerous than Breda.
“[He's] massively in danger," Kieron added. "Stuart and Jonny have literally taken his family away from him, [and will] potentially get his kids taken off of him after what he's done this week.
"Stuart's a very dangerous guy. Obviously Hollyoaks is renowned for having serial killers and murderers, but I'd say the most two dangerous men in the village in a long time are Jonny and Stuart."
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with a first look episode at 7pm on E4.
