X Factor fans have been left furious after rapper Honey G admitted to taking cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana in an exclusive interview.

Outraged viewers are calling for Honey G to be axed from The X Factor after she made a shocking confession about taking drugs.

The rapper - real name Anna Georgette Gilford - shocked fans when she admitted taking ecstasy, magic mushrooms, marijuana and cocaine in an interview with The Sun.

She claimed that she used to use class A drugs - and still smokes marijuana, despite being on the show.

In the exclusive interview, Honey G said: "I did class A drugs. I’m hardcore and I’m totally real. I have struggled with addiction. I have nothing to hide. I did do some class A drugs like cocaine and I did pills.

"I did a magic mushroom that I will never do again — that was probably one of the worst experiences.

“The thing about me is there is actually a story behind me and my life. It’s not like, ‘Hi I’ve just turned up on X Factor’.

“I’ve been a musician my entire life and I’ve been through real experiences. I’m totally real, hardcore and I have experienced things that are real.”

Bookies Coral have reported a “surge of bets” on 35-year-old Honey — who owns an HR business — winning the X Factor.

The rapper, who is due to perform Bee Gees' hit Stayin' Alive in tonight's live show, continued: “I’ve always struggled with a weed addiction.

“I don’t do it much now, only socially from time to time. I don’t like to bring it in my apartment as I don’t want to get hooked."

An X Factor spokesperson told the Mirror Online: "We have spoken to Honey and she has assured us that she has not taken drugs while being on the show."

But fans rushed to social media to criticise the rapper for being a bad role model, and many called for her to be booted from the show.

"So honey G smokes weed and its ok for her to be on , but yet contestants in the past have been kicked off the show for drugs," tweeted one angry viewer.

And a string of other fans took to social media to voice their concerns:
