Comedians Rufus Hound and Katy Brand have become the first two celebrity acts to make it to the final of BBC1's Let's Dance For Sport Relief. Funnyman Hound won through on the public vote in the show, which sees groups of celebrities from the worlds of TV, comedy, news and sport recreate famous dance routines. He dressed up as Cheryl Cole for his version of her Fight For This Love routine, complete with backing dancers in military gear - and struck a chord with both public and judges Frank Skinner, Jason Manford and Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh. "I cannot believe how perfect some of the moves were," Walsh said of his attempt to recreate her bandmate's solo effort. "I think Cheryl would have loved it too." Brand, meanwhile, fought off competition from the casts of Holby City and Casualty to win through on the judges' vote, following her interpretation of the Beyonce hit Single Ladies. "I think that is such an iconic video and you took it on and really went for it," Skinner told her, "I absolutely loved it." Cast members of Holby City and Casualty narrowly missed out on the final with their reworking of Jai Ho from the Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire. Both will now perform again in the grand final of the series on March 13. The other participants in the first show included the Olympians - consisting of Olympic athletes Dalton Grant, Iwan Thomas, Mark Foster, Leon Taylor, Heather Fell and Jamie Baulch - who recreated Madonna's Vogue. A trio of newsreaders - Five's Matt Barbet, BBC News presenter Ellie Crisell and BBC Breakfast's Louise Minchin performed a tango to the song Kiss Of Fire, while snooker players Willie Thorne and Dennis Taylor took on darts players Bobby George and Tony O'Shea in a recreation of Run DMC and Aerosmith's Walk This Way.
